Santiago Ijalba along his son Roberto and his daughter Laura make this Rioja on their estate in Rioja Alta (the best area in the region) out of 100% Tempranillo grapes. Although Rioja is perhaps more well known for its red wines, it also produces world beating rosé. This example is pale in colour, with a dry refreshing palate and hints of cherry on the nose.
